"My experience with endermologie:
May of 1999 is when I started going for endermologie sessions. Before this I tried pills, which didn't work and were a waste of money. I tried this other mail order cream with a brush which you're supposed to brush the skin before applying. This I did every morning and night for about a year. The cost was $80 for a 3 month supply. Although I did notice an improvement, it was a job to do, and quite time consuming. I tried those hand massagers which I bought 2, one for each hand and I'd apply the massagers to my thighs and buttocks for 20 minutes a day. I did this for 6 months. I was quite faithful in doing all of these methods. The 20 minute massages showed NO improvement!
When I started endermologie, I tried to go as often as I could but they were often too booked to take me twice in 1 week. So I went once and if I was lucky, twice a week for about 3 months. Then I went, on average, about once every 2 1/2 weeks for about 9 months. It was May of 2000 that I started going to Total Body Image with Renee for endermologie. I did notice some improvement before going to Total Body Image but I was disappointed with the amount of improvement. That's when Pete, an endermologie expert, did a little endermologie on me and told me I was resistant. He did a percentage of fat test on me and said I was about 17% which is quite low for a female. He said I was well hydrated. I drink 64 oz. of water a day plus I ad 16 oz. for every drink I have and 16 oz. if I have a candy bar which I seldom do. I was quite discouraged but felt I do have some improvement with the reduction of cellulite and if I stop it'll only go back to a year ago and be much worse. I also had an improvement with body sculpture results. I work out about 4 hrs a week every week, sometimes more. I eat right. I'm under weight. I'm 5"7 and weigh between 118 and 122 lbs. But I still noticed an improvement with body sculpture which was encouraging. Now I go every 4 weeks and still notice a slight improvement in cellulite and it maintains the body sculpture.
